Here is a presentation of the kennel and our breeding

The first time Hans came in contact with the Italian Greyhound was as early as 1974, when the first dog came into his family. He was called Nicko. Then the IG’s grew and Hans had three dogs as only family members. 

Hans wasn’t more than six years when he decided that he some time in the future would breed IG’s. He's a third-generation breeder. 
It all started with the help of Kennel Per-Mobile, Tina and Tommy Permo. Per-Mobile Frattelino became the ancestor of Kennel Mannequin’s. He was joined later by the full-brothers Per-Mobile Gentile Con Gente and Per-Mobile Giro Di Italia. All of these have countless champion- and winner titles. After some years, Carolin became a part of the kennel, and she's now the one running it.

From the same kennel came also some bitches, and in their bloodlines Per-Mobile Eroico had great influence. My base female in my breeding was Dancer’s Di Elba. She was fallen by Dogcastle’s Finken and Per-Mobile Eroico was her mother’s father. The combinations I made with Dancer’s Di Elba proved to be the foundation of Kennel Mannequin’s breeding.

We have imported females from France, Great Britain and Australia and this has contributed to our successes as well.
Our objective is to preserve the type, elegance, exterior and soundness that define the ancient Italian Greyhound into the modern Italian Greyhound.

It’s important for us to know what we use in the breeding, so we handpick our breeding material with great accuracy where we consider type, size, mentality, soundness, pedigree and correctness. Through this selective work, we have been able to produce several show champions and even an agility champion!

Our dogs are easily recognized, since they are extremely elegant and strongly resemble the original Italian Greyhound. You can easily recognize a Mannequin’s-dog in a crowd with other Italian Greyhounds. We have exported several dogs abroad, with good to very good show results.

We mean for our dogs to function in family situations, as well as in show and sport and breeding. We want everyone who has part in our dogs to be pleased with their family member. What makes us really happy as a breeder is when our four-legged friends come to a home where both dog and family are happy with each other.
